Before you file
We inspect for free and tell you whether there is a claim worth filing. If the damage costs less than your deductible, or it is age rather than a storm, you hear that from us on the same visit.

A roof claim is won or lost on documentation, not on argument. We inspect, photograph and measure before you ever call your carrier, then meet the adjuster on the roof with the evidence in hand.
We are a roofing contractor, not a public adjuster and not a law firm, so what we do is document the damage accurately and build the roof to the scope your carrier approves.
That line matters. A contractor who starts negotiating your settlement has crossed into work Virginia regulates, and the ones pushing hardest on it are usually the same ones asking you to sign an assignment of benefits. We stay on our side of it. Photos, measurements, an honest scope, and a roof built the way it should have been built the first time.

We meet your adjuster on site with test squares chalked, photos organized by elevation and measurements ready. Nothing legitimate gets missed because nobody could find it on the day of the appointment.
We build to the approved scope and document the install on CompanyCam, so you have proof that the materials your carrier paid for are the materials that actually went on your roof.
Storm season puts a lot of pressure on homeowners and most of it arrives in a truck with out of state plates. These are the lines we hold, and the ones you should hold too.
Four questions. You get a straight read on whether this is a repair, a replacement, a gutter job or an insurance claim, and where to go next.
We cover Northern Virginia and the Fredericksburg area out of two offices. Search for your town, or pick it off the list to see the map and the local page.
No match in our service area. Call (703) 347-6482 anyway, we travel for larger jobs.
How long you actually have to get a claim filed after hail, and why the evidence disappears long before the deadline does.
We get on the roof and photograph what we find before we quote. You see the same evidence we do.
One crew for the roof, the siding and the gutters, so nobody is blaming the other trade.

Photos and video through the whole install on CompanyCam, stored indefinitely, with a link that is yours to keep.
Only if the damage justifies it. We look first, for free, and give you the honest number. If a repair comes in under your deductible there is no reason to open a claim, and we will tell you so even though it means a smaller job for us.
Not always. Denials often come from a thin inspection, a wrong date of loss, or damage on an elevation nobody walked. We can reinspect and document what is actually up there, and you have the right to ask your carrier for a reinspection. What we will not do is manufacture damage that is not there.
You do. Your carrier pays you, usually as an initial check and then a recoverable depreciation check once the work is complete, and you pay us. That flow is exactly what an assignment of benefits takes away from you, which is why we never ask for one.
We supply the documentation, the photo record, the measurements and an itemized scope, and we talk to your adjuster about the roof itself. We do not negotiate your settlement or represent you, because in Virginia that is a public adjuster's job and we are not one.
The Virginia license number so you can look it up at DPOR, ours is 2705155080. A workers comp certificate with the sheet metal class code. A local office that existed before the storm. And a written material specification. Anyone who gets uncomfortable at those four questions has answered you.
Every town we cover has its own page with local detail. Pick yours.
Clogged gutters back water up under the first course of shingles, rot the fascia and feed ice dams. Keep them clean on a schedule and the roof edge stays dry. Ask about adding the Annual Gutter Cleaning Plan to your roof project.
Before you call your carrier, let us get on the roof and tell you what is actually up there. Free, documented, written down, and no obligation to file anything.
Tell us what you are seeing and we will get back to you to set a time.
