We walk the roof
Binoculars and a drone tell you about the field. They do not tell you whether the decking is soft underfoot or whether somebody nailed the step flashing through its face.

We do not lead with a price, we lead with questions. A free inspection tells you what your roof actually needs, what can wait another few seasons, and what is nothing at all.
Most free roof inspections exist to manufacture a sale. Ours exists to answer a question, and sometimes the honest answer is that your roof has good years left in it.
We get on the roof, not just the ground with binoculars. Field shingles, nail zone, flashing at every wall and penetration, valley condition, ridge and soffit ventilation, decking underfoot, and the gutter line all get looked at and photographed. You get a CompanyCam link with the photos and video, stored indefinitely, so you can see exactly what we saw.

Every finding goes on CompanyCam with photo and video. You get the link, the files stay stored indefinitely, and you can hand them to an adjuster or the next homeowner.
The inspection is free and the written estimate is free. If we tell you the roof is fine, that is the whole visit. We would rather earn the job later than sell you one you do not need.
A real inspection is a checklist, not a glance. These are the four things that decide whether a roof gets repaired, maintained, or replaced, and we walk you through each one.
Four questions. You get a straight read on whether this is a repair, a replacement, a gutter job or an insurance claim, and where to go next.
We cover Northern Virginia and the Fredericksburg area out of two offices. Search for your town, or pick it off the list to see the map and the local page.
No match in our service area. Call (703) 347-6482 anyway, we travel for larger jobs.
What the age of a roof does and does not tell you, and why it is never the only thing worth looking at.
We get on the roof and photograph what we find before we quote. You see the same evidence we do.
One crew for the roof, the siding and the gutters, so nobody is blaming the other trade.

Yes, free and with no obligation, and the written estimate is free too. We do not charge for looking and we do not need a signature to leave. If the roof is fine we say so, and we show you why on the photos rather than asking you to take our word.
Usually under an hour on a typical single family home, longer if there are multiple roof planes, a flat section, or storm damage to document. We walk you through the findings before we leave rather than mailing you a report you cannot read.
No. If your roof has good years left, a targeted repair or a tune up is the recommendation, and that is what the written estimate says. We do not manufacture urgency out of a close up photo of one lifted shingle.
Yes, and quickly. Wind and hail damage is easiest to document while it is fresh, and adjusters look for it. Never sign an assignment of benefits with anyone, and if a contractor offers to cover your deductible, that is insurance fraud in Virginia.
When we can get into it, yes. The underside of the deck tells you about ventilation, past leaks, and moisture that never showed on a ceiling. A dark stain on the sheathing is often the first real evidence of a flashing problem.
Every town we cover has its own page with local detail. Pick yours.

Clogged gutters back water up under the first course of shingles, rot the fascia and feed ice dams. Keep them clean on a schedule and the roof edge stays dry. Ask about adding the Annual Gutter Cleaning Plan to your roof project.
