Find the real entry point
We trace the water back from the stain to where it gets in, so you are not paying for shingles that were never the problem.

Leaks, missing shingles, failed flashing and worn pipe boots, traced to the source and fixed properly. Serving Culpeper and all of Culpeper County from our Fredericksburg office.
Most leaks we trace start somewhere other than where the stain shows up. Water runs along a rafter or the top of a wall before it drips, so the fix has to start on the roof at the real entry point, which on Culpeper homes is usually a chimney, a wall where the roof meets the siding, a pipe boot or a valley.
We find it, photograph it, and repair it at the source. If the roof has years left, we repair it and tell you so. If it is at the end, we show you the photos that prove it, and the decision stays yours.

If the roof has life left, we repair it. A new roof is only the answer when the photos say so.
Water coming in now gets tarped and dried in, and the permanent repair follows once the roof is dry enough to work on properly.
Repairs are where cheap work shows up fastest, so we do them to the same standard as a new roof.
Four questions. You get a straight read on whether this is a repair, a replacement, a gutter job or an insurance claim, and where to go next.

Often, yes. If the decking is sound and the damage is limited to one area, a repair is usually the honest answer. We show you photos of the whole roof so you can see why we recommend what we do.
Usually because the repair was made where the stain is rather than where the water gets in. Water travels along the framing before it drips. We trace it to the real source, which is often the flashing at a wall or chimney.
It can be either. Failed step and counter flashing is the most common cause, but cracked crowns and porous brick on older homes let water in too. We photograph both and tell you which one it is.
